Patty Bodney is the owner and creator of Padi Custom Ceramics. She is the proud Mom of Alex who is a freshman in college. When she isn’t watching him play basketball she is on the tennis court or in her studio or working on her masters. Her passions are her family, her work and tennis. Finding balance is always is the key.

Patty graduated from Colorado State and taught high school English and physical education for a year before turning her focus into her lifelong passion: fitness. She owned a health and fitness studio for 16 years before she and her family moved to Melbourne, Australia. It is here Patty fell in love with her new line of work, and trained for three years under artist/instructor Trish Humphries from the Stonington Ceramics Studio. Through Trish, Padi learned the art of throwing, cleaning, painting, and glazing all her pieces by hand.
